Dear Family and Friends, over the last few months I have been triathlon training for my first half ironman that will take place on June 21st in Mont Tremblant Canada. Training for this triathlon has changed my life in so many ways. As of this week, I saw 199lbs on the scale, and I haven't seen that since the year 1999.
When the opportunity came to participate in this race it also came with a greater opportunity.
Ironman has become increasingly popular with many different ways to enter an event, one of which is supporting a charity. For this race I have chosen to support an incredible organization called Smile Train. Smile Train provides cleft lip and palate surgeries for children all over the world. There have been so many days that I have been too tired to train, but every time I'm reminded that my hard work is going to give a kid a smile, who without our efforts might never have one.
Every t-shirt that is sold will go towards supporting Smile Train and the life changing work they are doing throughout the world. Would you prayerfully consider supporting my efforts to support smile train by buying a t-shirt, and would you be willing to pass this along to your friends and family? Every shirt has purpose, and each day you put it on you can be reminded that you played a huge part in giving a kid a smile.
