What happens if I don’t reach my funding goal?
Setting goals is good practice. We understand that just as it is true in life, sometimes a goal will be unmet. If you don’t meet your funding goal by the time your Drive is over, it’s okay, you’ll still get what you fundraised (that’s how we roll). And as is true in life, unmet goals are opportunities for growth. If you don’t meet your goal and want to launch another Chrome Buffalo Drive to try again (because you are familiar with the process or now how you’d approach people differently), go for it!
Who backs Drives?
For the most part, people support (and give to) people, not causes. Think back, that crotchety neighbor down the street still bought cookies from you because she was in a bridge group with your grandma and your dad’s coworker bought the chocolate bars that he hit him up with at the office because they were office chums. The beauty of Chrome Buffalo is we have eliminated the face-to-face contact that once was necessary for fundraising. Now you just email, post, tweet, pin, or email your Drive’s URL and your cousin in Kalamazoo or aunt living in Buenos Aires can help you meet your goal! While you might get the occasional random stranger purchasing from your Drive, the truth is your time will be best spent (and you will have the most impact for your cause) if you target friends and family and ask them to spread the word too - it’s the ripple effect at its best!
Is there a limit to the number of Drives I can run?
At the same time? Yes - we ask that you only have one Drive per username active at any time. However, do you want to run another Drive because the one you just finished was so successful? Or do you have another cause or project you need to fundraise for? Or, perhaps you didn’t reach your goal and need to take a different approach so you are trying again? If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions (or you answered ‘yes’ to a question in your head which we did not have the knowledge to predict and type here), then go for it! Drive on!
Can I customize my T-shirt order with the addition of logos/artwork?
No. We want to make it simple for you and for us. In order to keep costs low and give away more (that's how we can give away $9 w/ every shirt sold!), we have made it a blanket policy to not allow any customization. And honestly, with our top-notch designs and talented artists, we think we got you covered!
How often do your designs change?
We we are committed to changing out the T-shirt designs for Chrome Buffalo 3-4 times a year. In fact, as you read this, our Designers and Artists are busy working on our next rocking designs. Keep posted!
What T-shirts do you use?
Chrome Buffalo only prints on ultra-soft Next Level apparel. Next Level is sweatshop free, child-labor free, WRAP certified (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production), and is dedicated to ethical standards of conduct in all aspects of production. Since the women's shirts are a fitted cut, we recommend ordering up a size (or two). We also recommend washing your shirts inside out with like-colors and drying on low heat.

What is your return policy?
Since your Drive’s shirts are made to order, Chrome Buffalo does not stock designs and therefore we are unable to accept returns and/or exchanges. Please heed the advice of Mr. Franklin and make sure you know what you are ordering prior to placing your order. Our business model is based on generosity, so in the unlikely event that you end up with a shirt that is wrong size or unwanted, get creative in how you turn that t-shirt into a blessing for someone else. How do I get my funds after a completed Drive?
Since this is what Chrome Buffalo is all about, this is a great question to ask and that is why we left it for last! In order to receive funds from Chrome Buffalo after a completed Drive, you must have a Verified PayPal account. Setting up a PayPal account is free and easy. In order to expedite the payment process we suggest you get your account verified prior to launching your Drive. All money sent via PayPal will be subject to PayPal's seller transaction fees (2.9% + $0.30), unfortunately there is no way around that. Please note that failure to provide Chrome Buffalo with a Verified PayPal account within two (2) weeks after the end date of a Drive will result in forfeit of funds paid by Chrome Buffalo to the Driver and/or the organization or group whom the Driver is representing.
Chrome Buffalo processes all payments on the 1st and 15th of each month. If your Drive launched on the 1st, you can expect to receive your payment on the 15th of that same month. If your Drive launched on the 15th, you can expect to receive your payment on the 1st of the following month. Through your PayPal account, you can request to withdraw the funds when they become available. And please note that if the 1st or the 15th of a month falls on a weekend, your payment will be made on the following Monday.
In addition, all money raised by a Drive is subject to taxation. You are responsible for paying all taxes associated with your use of the Chrome Buffalo Service. At the end of a fiscal year, the Driver (the person/organization running a Drive) may be given a 1099 through PayPal and will be responsible for paying all associated income taxes.
